I have been working as a professional in the music industry since 1989, during which time I have played in rock bands, blues bands, jazz trio's, top 40 bands, and national acts. I have been involved in professional recording since moving to Nashville in 2002, playing on numerous recording sessions and licensing some of my music to TV shows. Over the past 20 years I have worked as a guitarist, band leader, tour manager, teacher, composer, recording engineer, producer, guitar tech, FOH engineer, and owner of a production company. I am currently in the process of writing a book about the Nashville music scene which will be called “The Nashville Musician's Survival Manual.”
Much of what I know about working as a professional musician I have learned the hard way, through years of trial and error and hard work. I love to share what I know and offer career mentoring to those who would like to benefit from my experiences. Career Mentoring Sessions are available in my home studio or by phone.
