Using top session players in a Nuendo-based studio, I will create a full production demo of your song. Songwriter packages start at $275 per song which includes tracking Drums, Bass, Acoustic Guitar, and Lead and Rhythm Electric Guitars as well as the final mix - everything but the vocalist. We have a pool of several talented session vocalists for you to choose from and their fees range from $75 to $100 per song (including background vocals). If you plan to sing the vocals, up to one hour of tracking per song will be included in the package price. Additional instruments or custom sessions are available. Just give us a call.
Just give me a call at (615-289-8842) or send an e-mail to provide some information about your song project. You will then need to provide me with a work tape or mp3 of you singing your song with or without guitar or piano accompaniment and we will do the rest. If you are in town you can stop by the studio to go over arrangement ideas or discuss your project in detail. A half down payment is due prior to the start of your project with the balance due upon completion. I accept payments in cash, check, or through PayPal. Upon completion I will email an MP3 and send and audio CD via regular mail. Sample Demos:
You can hire me to play guitar on your project directly through this site. I can add guitar parts to your existing tracks or replace full tracks you have recorded. My specialty is electric lead, rhythm, and slide, but I am equally proficient on acoustic guitar as well. The Process 1.) Send me your tracks. Send me a stereo MP3 file of your song via e-mail. Please make sure that the song has a two bar count off and include the click track on a separate track if possible. Include in the e-mail any specific ideas you have about style or arrangement. 2.) I record the tracks Within 48 hours I will send you an MP3 for approval. If you are not completely satisfied, I will gladly make up to two revisions or give you some alternate takes to choose from. Once you are satisfied with the tracks and have sent payment, I can either send you the WAV files through an FTP site or mail you a CD. 3.) Rates My fee is $50 per song. This will include an electric lead track and an electric rhythm track if needed. Acoustic tracks are $50 per song as well and will also include up to two parts. Music On A Hill is a Nuendo-based digital recording studio. All our drum tracks are recorded live in our drum room. Our electric guitars are recorded through an array of vintage guitar amps in our concrete and plywood enclosed underground amp vault. The amp vault is 8x8x16 and can deliver a wide array of sounds ranging from up close and personal to garage to Coliseum. Our microphone selection includes Rode, Shure, and Audix.
