First and foremost, Eric Normand is an artist, one who has devoted a lifetime to expressing himself through the art of guitar playing, and in recent years, singing and writing. Since relocating to Nashville in 2002, Eric, a Berklee Alumni and New England native, has worked with some of Nashville's finest including: Toby Keith, Jamey Johnson, Vern Gosdin, Daryle Singletary, Chad Brock, Jeff Carson, David Kersch, and EMI’s 2011 songwriter of the year, Rhett Akins. Not afraid to wear a lot of hats, Eric has worked at many roles in the Nashville music industry including; performer, tour manager, band leader, guitar tech, guitar teacher, songwriter, website designer and, with the release of his first book “The Nashville Musician's Survival Guide”, author and public speaker.

To this day, live performance remains at the center of Eric's passion, and this is evident with the recent formation of his group “The Eric Normand Band”. Staying true to his blues/rock roots, this trio is as much a sonic exploration as it is a boogie-woogie factory, delivering sometimes searing yet subtle riffs through a passionate vocal and guitar onslaught, over a churning R&B foundation.

Some of Eric's other accomplishments include:

Performances in every state in the Continental US
Performances in Canada, France, and Switzerland
Performances on the Grand Ole Opry, the Tonight Show, the Jimmy Kimmel Show, and The View
Music licensing to “Real Trees Road Trips”, “The Tommy Wilcox Show”, and the documentary “Chef de Riz”

On-stage performances and jams with:

Colt Ford • Blake Shelton • Victor Wooten • Oteil Burbridge (Allman Brothers) • Phil Keaggy • Joe Nichols • Andy Griggs • Wade Hayes • Wayne Jackson (Memphis Horns) • Garth Hudson (The Band) • James Cotton • ‘T-Model’ Ford • James Belushi • James Montgomery • Michael Waddell • Ira Dean • Trent Tomlinson • Trent Willmon • Brantley Gilbert
